Why am I on a waiting list?
The page you see after creating an account, during the private beta
BuildTrade™ is in private beta, so a new account waits until we let it in. Confirm your email first; then the page shows your number in line, and we email you the moment it is your turn. An invite code or a beta role in our Discord lets you in at once. Sign in any time to see where you stand.
Step by step
- Confirm your emailShown until you open the link in the first email. Nobody gets in before that, with a code, the Discord role or from the waiting list. Send the link again sends a fresh one (a few times per 15 minutes). An invite code typed at sign-up is kept and lets you in as you confirm. Confirming only proves the address is yours; it signs you up for no newsletter.
- You’re on the waiting listYour number counts the confirmed accounts that joined before you and are still waiting. We let traders in a few at a time, so it is a place in line, not a promise of order.
- Have an invite code?Type it and choose Redeem invite code. A valid code opens the app straight away.
- Continue with DiscordFor members of our Discord server with a beta role, when Discord access is on. Discord asks you to sign in and sends you back; the app checks the role and lets you in.
- The beta is full for nowShown when we can’t offer you a place yet. We email you when BuildTrade™ opens to everyone, and an invite code or the Discord beta role still works.
Good to know
- Two emails at most: the first asks you to confirm your address and says you are on the waiting list, and “You’re in” arrives when we let you in.
- When BuildTrade™ opens to everyone, every confirmed account still in line, and every one told the beta is full, is let in at once and gets the “You’re in” email; an account not yet confirmed gets in the moment it confirms. Accounts made while it is open go in as they confirm and stay in.
- The private beta page on the website, buildtrade.app/beta, says all of this in short.
- Only Discord’s own sign-in counts here, because it proves the Discord account is yours. A typed Discord ID does not.
