Limits and safety

On Builder an AI app can make 120 calls a minute, with up to 8 running at once; on Architect 300 and 16. A refused call gets a plain message saying why and when to try again. It trades only if you allowed it, tells you what it will do first, and can never move money out.

When every place is busy, up to 64 more calls wait their turn, each for up to 30 seconds. One call can be up to 512 KB. The free plan can’t connect an AI app.

What protects your account

  • An AI app can trade only if you switched on May place orders when you connected it. Without it, place_order, cancel_order, close_position and bot_action reply that the connection may not place orders, and how to change that.
  • Those four take two calls. The first does nothing and asks the AI app to tell you exactly what it is about to do; the second, with confirm: true, does it.
  • Deleting a watchlist takes the same two steps, with delete: true and confirm: true.
  • delete_alert and chart_clear_drawings can’t be undone; their instructions tell the AI app to say what it will remove first.
  • No tool withdraws or moves funds.

What the AI app sees

  • Only what each tool sends back. Your conversation stays with the AI app: the connection gets tool calls, not your chat.
  • Replies never carry your sign-in.
  • While it uses your chart, a notice shows on the Trade screen.
  • Settings › Security › AI assistant shows when each AI app was last used, and Revoke stops one at once.
