How do I build my own indicator without code?

Indicator Builder, from Indicators › My Indicators or the command palette

The Indicator Builder is a block editor. Blocks run top to bottom; each names a value the blocks below can use, such as a price source, a moving average, an oscillator, a cross or a plot. The preview runs on real recent candles as you build. Save it and it appears under My Indicators on the chart, and as a condition in the strategy builder.

Step by step

  1. Start from a recipe or blankRecipes are complete indicators you can take apart.
  2. Add blocksFrom the palette on the left. Each block shows its inputs and the name of its output.
  3. Watch the previewThe right pane plots the result on real candles. The read-only script view shows the same pipeline as text.
  4. SaveIt lands in My Indicators. Apply to chart and Use in strategy are one click from the library.
