What your test results say about risk, worked out from your own trades. Nothing is recommended.

edge_r_summary

Explains a backtest in R: average R per trade, win rate, longest losing streak, one of your trades worked through; says so when there are too few trades.

  • Reads only

Inputs

  • backtestIdtext (not empty, up to 100 characters)Required

    From list_backtests or run_backtest.

  • showAllRtrue or false

Include every trade's R (can be long). Default false.

What the AI app reads

Explain a backtest in R — each trade's result as a multiple of what it risked (1R). Gives the average R per trade (expectancy), win rate, best and worst, longest losing streak, how the results spread, and one of the trader's own trades worked through as an example. Says plainly when there are too few trades to trust.

edge_risk_explorer

Replays your own results thousands of times at different risk per trade: middle and bad cases, the chance of deep falls and of ruin. It recommends nothing.

  • Reads only

Inputs

  • backtestIdtext (not empty, up to 100 characters)

    From list_backtests or run_backtest.

  • rslist of 1 to 10,000; each number
  • levelslist of 1 to 12; each number (above 0, up to 100)

    Percent risked per trade, e.g. [0.5, 1, 2].

  • tradesAheadwhole number (10 to 1,000)
  • runswhole number (100 to 10,000)
  • seedwhole number
  • tolerableDrawdownnumber (above 0, up to 100)

Largest fall from a peak, in percent, the trader could live with.

  • ruinAtnumber (above 0, up to 100)
What the AI app reads

What could the next trades do at different risk per trade? Replays the trader's own R results at random thousands of times for each risk level (percent of the account per trade) and reports the middle and bad-case outcomes, the chance of 20/35/50% falls, and the chance of ruin. Nothing is recommended — show the table and let the trader pick the level whose bad cases they could live through. Give a backtestId, or a list of R results.

edge_check_rules

Checks a strategy for what is missing or risky before it trades.

  • Reads only

Inputs

  • strategyIdtext (not empty, up to 100 characters)

    From list_strategies.

  • configobject, any keys
  • directionone of long, short, both
  • tradeswhole number (at least 0)
  • leveragenumber (above 0, up to 100)
  • initialCapitalnumber (above 0)
What the AI app reads

Check a strategy's rules for what is missing or risky before it trades: no stop, no way to take profit, size too big for the stop and leverage, an indicator used but not set up, too few test trades, a stop type the live bot does not use yet. Give a saved strategyId, or an unsaved config (same shape as create_strategy).
