How many orders a minute can my plan send?
Plans & Pricing · the order ticket · Bots
Your plan sends up to a set number of orders a minute to the exchange, yours and your bots’ together: Apprentice 10, Artisan 30, Builder 60, Architect 120. Stops, closes and cancels always go out. Past the limit an order is not sent and the message says when there is room. Higher plans get priority during busy moments.
Step by step
- What countsEach order, cancel and leverage change sent to the exchange, from the ticket or a bot, across all your wallets. An order sent with its stop loss and take-profit attached counts one; moving an order counts two. Prices, balances and positions are only read and never count.
- Always sentStops placed or moved, closes, cancels and Stop all are counted but never held back or refused, so a trade you hold is always looked after.
- Over the limitThe order is not sent and nothing is charged; the message says about when there is room again. A bot skips that entry, says so in its event log and tries again on its next signal, without pausing.
- Busy momentsWhen many accounts send at once, stops, closes and cancels go first, then the higher plans. An order that waits moves up one plan every five seconds, so every order gets its turn.
- A bot’s limit entryA bot entering with a limit order moves it after the price, using at most a fifth of your minute on one entry; on Apprentice it never moves it. Once that share is used, a price that moves sends the entry at market, so your own orders keep their room.
Good to know
- The limits are set for trading by hand and with bots, not for high-frequency trading. Paper orders never count, and testnet orders are counted apart from real ones.
