Trade: an order ticket that sizes from the stop
Plan the trade on the chart, decide the loss first, and let the ticket do the arithmetic. The paper account and a live account work the same way, down to the checklist.
The ticket starts from the two things a trader decides: where the idea is wrong, and how much it may cost. Those two set the size, so a stop-out costs what was decided and nothing more. Leverage changes the margin, not the risk, and the ticket says where an isolated position would be liquidated before the order goes.
Below the chart sit your open positions, orders and fills, in one row each. The chart draws on its own code, so a trend line, a level or an indicator is yours to keep, and the same chart serves the strategy builder and the backtest results.

Pick the loss you accept and where the idea is wrong. The ticket turns those two into a position size, so a stop-out costs what you decided.

Leverage changes the margin you post, not the money you risk. The ticket shows how far the liquidation sits beyond your stop, so a stop that would never trigger is caught early.

Walk through one trade.
Three steps, in the order the ticket asks them. Each one lights up the part of the screen it talks about.
Liquidation clears your stop by 7.2×.
Decide the loss first. The size follows.
Type your own numbers. This is the arithmetic the order ticket runs before every order: the loss you accept and the stop decide the size, and the liquidation is checked against the stop.
Example values. Pick your own number. Liquidation assumes an isolated position on a market whose maximum leverage is 20×, using Hyperliquid’s published formula; fees and funding move it slightly.
