Strategy: rules you can read out loud

Pick the conditions from menus, read the strategy back as one sentence, then test it on past prices. Sizing and risk get the same room as the entry signal.

An idea loads into the builder, a backtest runs on real bars, and the results show what to practise. Example data, recorded from the app

A strategy here has four parts with equal weight: when to enter, when to exit, how much to size, and what risk to accept. Most tools stop at the first one. The builder reads the four back as plain English, so a rule that sounds wrong out loud is caught before it is tested.

The backtest runs on the same bars the chart shows and reports in R, the unit of risk you chose, with a hold-out stretch the rules never saw and a reshuffle of the trades to show how much of the curve was luck. A strategy that survives both can become a bot with one click.

Each condition is a sentence built from menus: a value, a comparison, another value. The builder keeps the sentence readable as the rules grow.

  • Sizing and exits set in the same place as the entry
    Check your rules

A strategy without a stop or a size is not finished, and the builder says so before a test runs. The four parts are always in view together.

  • Results with drawdown, R-multiples and a luck check
    Read a backtest

Results come in R, so a win is a multiple of what was risked and strategies compare fairly. The drawdown strip and the luck check sit right under the curve.

    Test honestly

Part of the history is kept back until the rules are final. A strategy that only works on the bars it was built from shows it here, before any money does.
