Bots

Bots: follow the rule, stop when they should

A bot runs one backtested strategy on one market and does only what the rules say. It pauses itself at its daily loss limit, and one button stops every bot at once.

The list shows every bot with its running result. A row opens the bot and its trades. Example data, recorded from the app

A bot is a strategy that passed its backtest, pointed at a market and an account. It keeps the same stop, size and exits the test used, so the live record can be read against the backtest line by line. Every bot starts on paper, and the free plan keeps one running there for as long as you like.

The list shows each bot with its running result as a sparkline, and the detail page shows every trade it took and why. Pausing a bot stops new entries while the open position stays yours to manage. The emergency stop pauses all of them in one press and says so in your journal.

    Practise, then go small

The paper account fills orders the way the exchange would, fees and funding included. A bot that holds up there can move to a small live size without changing a rule.

    Why did my bot stop

A bot pauses at the daily loss limit you set, when its exchange connection drops, or when a rule can no longer be read. The reason is written on the bot, not hidden in a log.

    Deploy a bot

Deploying takes a strategy with a passed backtest, a market and an account. The same screen shows what the bot may and may not do before it starts.

    Emergency stop

One press pauses every bot and cancels their resting orders. Open positions are left for you to close by hand, so nothing is sold into a bad print.
