# Does the website track me?

Account & security · Where: Every page of the public website, buildtrade.app · Updated 2026-10-18

No. The website sets no cookies and runs no tracking script. Each hour it adds up page views, where visits came from, the country and the kind of browser, then deletes the request lines, so nothing can name or follow you. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track are left out of the counts entirely.

## Step by step

1. **What is counted** Page views, visits, the site a visit came from, campaign tags in the link, the country Cloudflare reports for the connection, the device type and browser family, and crawlers by family.
2. **What is never kept** Your IP address, cookies, your account, or anything that links one visit to the next. A detail seen fewer than 5 times in a day is merged into Other after 3 days.
3. **Sign-up buttons** A sign-up button tells the app which part of the website it sits in, for example pricing. The app adds one to that part’s count for the day and keeps nothing on your account.
4. **Leaving it out** Turn on Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track in your browser. The website then writes nothing about your visits, and a sign-up started from it is not counted either.

## Good to know

- Your light or dark choice is remembered in your own browser only and never sent anywhere.
- Daily totals are kept for 25 months. The full wording is in the Privacy Policy, under The public website.
