# What are Polaris Diamonds and what do they buy?

Polaris Diamonds are earned for how you work in the app: a first strategy, backtest and bot; journaling 10, 30, 100 and 365 days; a referral who joins; accepted bug reports. They buy a quarter off, half off, or a month free on a renewal, with a yearly cap on free months. Rewards shows your balance, what it buys, how to earn, and recent awards.

## Step by step

1. **Your balance** Top of Rewards, and the diamond chip in the top bar. Under it, one sentence says what the balance is worth in plan value.
2. **What it buys** The three discount steps, priced for your plan, each with how many diamonds you still need or "you have enough".
3. **How to earn** Earned achievements carry a medal and the date you earned them; the rest keep a plain icon and show what each pays. Every one pays once, for process, never for profit or trade count. A diamonds-earned notification carries a party popper.
4. **Recent awards** The last 20 entries in your ledger: what it was for, the amount, the date.

## Good to know

- Polaris Diamonds are not money and cannot be withdrawn, traded or sent to someone else.
- Spending diamonds at renewal is not switched on yet. Your balance carries over and nothing expires; Rewards says so on the screen.
